A week ago, my Uncle Matt, my dad's brother, had a stroke. Though he spent most of this week in the ICU, he's since been moved to a rehab facility. So far there have been many hopeful signs: he's awake and alert, he can eat and drink, and he can communicate with head nods and gestures. Naturally we are praying for a full recovery, but it will take time and patience. So, if y'all would remember Uncle Matt and his family, I'd be grateful. The more prayer, the better!
