Since schools are such dangerous places, this Massachusetts elementary school took steps to address the violence: ban Tag.

Here's the heart of it:

The age-old game is now banned by the principal, who says recess is a time "when accidents can happen." Officials are also afraid if someone gets hurt, the school will get sued.

Apparently, we must protect our children from physics at any cost, lest they learn by experience that running into other objects at high speeds, hurts.
