Actually, it's just a mineral with a chemical composition corresponding to kryptonite's formula in the Superman Returns movie. However, it's white, not green, though it does glow orange under ultraviolet light. And they can't actually call it "kryptonite", because it doesn't contain krypton (a gas). But still, pretty cool...
