A Wodehousian Appraisal of Hillary Clinton

Whilst traipsing about the Interwebs, I encountered this bit by Alex Massie, a Scottish journalist, explaining one reason he thinks HRC fails to gain traction with most men. As a Wodehouse fan, I find his answer quite compelling: "Hillary is the Honoria Glossop of the presidential campaign." Interestingly enough, he's also pegged this election year's Madeline Bassett: Mike Huckabee.

PS: Though interested in politics, normally I don't beat a political drum at the Hermitage. The exception is when the political segues into another of my interests: Romney and Mormonism, for instance. Consider this a post in the same vein.

PPS: For those who don't get the joke, GO READ THE JEEVES & WOOSTER STORIES OF P.G. WODEHOUSE IMMEDIATELY. You don't realize how empty your life is without them.
