Some of my dear readers know this already, but in case you don't, my girlfriend Katie is on a mission trip in Nicaragua. It's really a great opportunity for her. She's going with the BCM, which basically pays for everything, but this ain't no cake walk! (Or torta walk, it being Latin America and all. Not one of those either.) Among other things, they're going off on a trek into the mountains and roughing it for a week or so. Pretty hardcore, eh? Anyway, I know that she would appreciate your thoughts and prayers while she's down there. She gets back June 4th, so prayers for a safe flight are also appropriate!

BCM is "Baptist College Ministries", formerly the BSU, "Baptist Student Union".
