A Belated Birthday!

I was remiss: I forgot that Tolkien's birthday was January 3rd. He died years ago, but he cast a long shadow. So, two days late, I raise my Mountain Dew in a salute to John Ronald Reuel Tolkien: saint, scholar, and subcreator. May the hair on his toes never fall out!
