I'm waiting to see how this thing shakes out, and also sorting out in my mind which policy positions are important in a president and which aren't. Frankly, a presidential candidate's ardent stance on certain kinds of issues--taxes, for instance--doesn't matter a hill of beans if the legislative branch doesn't send him bills to sign! I'm more interested in candidates' positions relative to the actual office of the executive.
