Pumpkins of the Caribbean

Katie and I carved a pumpkin for Halloween -- my first in many, many years. Given Katie's love of all things piratical, we decided to snag a little buccaneer-in-a-bag kit from the Dollar Tree and create our own Cap'n Jack O'Lantern. Clever, no?

Cap'n Jack O'Lantern glows eerily in the dark shadow generated by a turkey pan, as it is held in front of the light by my long-suffering fiancee.
